Rabbit
The number of pet and animal based blogs that are out there at the moment is increasing on a daily basis. This means that the designers of blog templates are taking this into account and consequently developing designs that are perfectly optimised for this market. The Rabbit WordPress Theme really fits into this arena perfectly, and this is not just because it has a picture of a rabbit in the header. The header, by the way, is incredible in that it has a graphic on the far right, and somehow squeezes a lot of content in to the very top left of the header, which means that the whole WordPress template has a real sense of getting the most content into the template that it is possible to do.
Any blogger who wants to run a pet-based blog can really benefit for this particular template. The template is perfectly aligned with the small pet shop blog too. The template also contains three columns, which means that you can install widgets to a very large degree. This allows for the best in functionality, allowing you to add content that can be regularly updated for your readership. This is a great theme.
Morning
There are some bloggers out there who have found themselves a niche and are doing their very best to exploit it to its full potential. These bloggers have done their research, they have found the business they want to be in, and they have nailed their colours to the mast as regards the theme and tone of their site. Having a perfect WordPress Theme for the site is essential to the success of the venture.
Having said that, it is hard to pinpoint where the WordPress template called Morning fits into a niche. It is colourful and certainly eye-catching, but the actual business sector it fits into is so wide-ranging it makes it difficult to give it a genre.
This is no problem really, in the end. The casual blogger will appreciate its wild colours and general freshness. The more business minded blogger would appreciate the three column layout, with two sidebars for total functionality. This blog can do anything you want it to, basically speaking. The blogger can stick a forum button into the sidebar that allows widgets, and instantly gain a following of people who want to talk about the blog. Basically, Morning is a template for everyone.
Easter
When Easter comes around, there is one sector in retail that is perfectly poised to take advantage of that particular holiday season. Confectioners and other sweet traders have a great time in this spring holiday. There is a WordPress template that perfectly suits this time of year, and that is the one that is conveniently known as Easter.
Easter is a fairly self-descriptive WordPress Theme. The header is bright and colourful, with the Easter colour of yellow very predominant. Bunny rabbits abound underneath a blue sky, and there are plenty of daisies to grab your attention.
Then you find that there is also a fully widget friendly sidebar that has all of the functionality that you could possibly want if you are a blogger. If you are a store that has a blog and you want to get across the Easter special offers that you may have, this is the space in which you can do that. Float a few graphics here, or some units that talk about the discounts tat you are offering, or even just a fancy unit that shows opening times. Whatever you decide, there is a widget that will help you do it. A great theme.
Happy New Year 2009
Every now and then a WordPress Theme comes along that is so highly focused on a particular theme or niche that it cannot be used in any other respect. The WordPress template may be so localised in them and style that no one but the dedicated customer could use it. Happy New Year 2009 is one such theme.
The title says it all really. This is a very seasonal and very bold-looking Christmas and New Year theme. It has a great and striking red and white colour scheme, which depicts an amazing-looking graphic showing reindeers, snow scenes, the lot. This could quite easily be tacked on as a template at the end of the year, as a special treat for your readers.
It is s a two column theme, and has a sidebar on the right hand side of the page. This means that it is widget compliant, and this brings with it a host of functionality that really transforms the blog reader’s experience. If you were to take on a theme that is widget compliant, you have to be sure to enable the widgets in the admin section of your blog.
A one –off, seasonal theme for your blog.
