If you are looking for a completely minimalist WordPress Theme, then look no further than Shiny Green. This particular template is quite obviously best suited to those bloggers who are working on something that has a cutesy feel to it, or someone who is working on a blog that needs some calming element to it. This could be a self-help blog, or a blog that has some agricultural or gardening feel to it.

This WordPress template is highly effective. The header image alone is highly attractive, and should bring some stickiness to your blog. There is an image of trees and fields, with a golden hue present throughout. The two column theme has a sidebar running on the right hand side, which contains all the functionality you could require as regards widget compliance. This makes it incredibly useful to all readers of the blog, who can expect a number of useful widgets if the sidebar is used in this way.

Overall this would be a perfect theme for a gardening blog, or a blog that has some place in the farming community. On the other hand, you could also quite easily use this template if you are promoting a self-development site.

If you are looking for a WordPress Theme that is a little different from the norm, look no further than Reach Out. This theme has a tree on it, graphically speaking, that becomes greener as it reaches the very top of the header. However, the theme has an overall feel of darkness, like it could be best suited to perhaps a horror fan site, or even a site dedicated to the more obscure and interesting religions.

The two column WordPress template has a sidebar located on the right hand side. This sidebar accommodates all of the widget functionality that you would expect form a truly professional blog template. This means that you can take this theme on for your bog, and customise it so that it meets the needs of your blogging platform, as well as the readers you attract to your blog. A blog without widgets misses out on some very attractive and sticky features, so it is well worth making sure that you maximise them when you get them. Go to your admin page on your blog and activate your widgets from there.

This is a theme that is atmospheric. Probably best suited, overall, to a horror blog.

For anyone who wants to create a blog that has a nice calm feel to it, My Bay could well be the WordPress Theme that is needed. There are plenty of calming and relaxing templates out there at the moment, but it is only now and then that you stumble across one that is so colourful and vibrant.

This WordPress template has a header graphic that has a beautiful image of a lighthouse set into a lovely bay. The template is a two column one, with a sidebar located on the left hand side.

The sidebar is widget compliant, which means that you can use it to enhance the functionality and interest in your blog. Many bloggers use sidebars to increase the stickiness of their website, allowing visitors to feel welcome and offering them more to do and stay around for. Just be sure to allow widgets to be used on your blog via your admin pages.

The header graphic pretty much dominates this template. This is not a bad thing due to its beauty. If you are planning a holiday blog, or a blog that involves self help or natural therapies, then this WordPress template could be for you.

If you are a blogger that likes to play Massively Multiplayer Online Games, or just likes to write about gaming in general, then Fantasy could be the theme for you. This theme is totally dominated by an incredibly rendered header that overwhelms the page layout. This header depicts a typical fantasy scene, with a castle and a beautiful waterfall.

This is a two column theme, and does have a great little sidebar. However, due to the dominance of the main graphic, any widgets that are included in the sidebar will probably have to be pretty spectacular themselves, or do a very useful job, if they are not to be lost among the graphical excitement.

As stated earlier, this WordPress Theme is probably best suited to a blogger who likes to write about gaming issues. There are many game players out there, and not a few who wouldn’t love to see a blog that has such a great looking and evocative header graphic.

Just a word about widgets. If you do not enable them in your blog’s admin pages, they will not be a feature of your blog. Bear this in mind if you take on any WordPress template that has widget compliance.

Some bloggers find their blogging life incredibly stressful, believe it or not. Staying up too late with a cup or ten of coffee and then finding yourself struggling to find the right words for the piece you are trying to put together, this kind of lifestyle can quite easily take its toll on one’s nerves. Every now and then, however, a WordPress Theme comes along that is so calm and relaxing, that it actually helps to bring a sense of tranquillity to the template.

Blue Sky is a WordPress template that really helps to bring a calming feel to the blogger’s life, as well as the lives of his readers. The title pretty much says it all for this template, with a lovely pastoral scene dominating the WordPress theme.

While the main picture dominates, the rest of the template is far from impractical. The sidebar is widget friendly, and the two column theme has a lovely blue content entry area. The two main colours of green and blue work well style wise, and give the theme a lovely overall finish.

This template would probably best suit someone who is working on a self-development site, or a health and wellness site.

Some WordPress template designs have a striking look. This is mostly achieved with a creative use of colour. The WordPress Theme Green Candy is pretty much a theme that offers clues to its look in the title.

Green is very much the predominant colour in this WordPress template. The header could well be one of the most beautiful headers available, with some lovely graphic work that shows blades of grass. This header takes up a lot of the screen, and is therefore one of the most visual elements on the page. It really sets the reader up for the rest of the page. It is for this reason that this particular WordPress Theme would be best suited to a blogger who is working on a theme of Nature or the great outdoors.

The sidebar is found on the left hand side of the screen. This is Widget compliant, which means that you have all of the customising options that most bloggers expect. Widgets are a particularly good idea for offering your readers a more comprehensive experience when it comes to reading.

The Green Candy theme is designed by Lorelei, and it would be great for anyone blogging on environmental issues.

Nearly everyone these days is worried about the environment. The issue is on the global agenda, with the ideas and concepts around the problem being discussed on a daily basis.

This has lead to a number of bloggers choosing to set up a blog with an environmentally relevant topic attached to it. This means, in turn, that WordPress Theme designers have responded by creating WordPress templates that fit in with the eco theme.

One such WordPress Theme is Eco Blog. The colour green is prominent on this WordPress template as soon as you see it, so you are in no doubt as to what the theme is about.

Unusually for a WordPress theme, the sidebar is situated on the left hand side. It is still widget compliant, which means that if you were to take on the template, you could easily customise it within minutes, so that it meets your needs.

The header is particularly attractive, featuring splashing water on a blue background. The entire template is very pastoral, and creates a calm mood of nature and the environment. This means that it is best suited to blogs that cover these issues. The template is designed by the designer Sabiostar.

One of the more picturesque themes out there at the moment is Home Garden. Just like the title suggests, this theme is based on a pastoral feel.

So it is colourful, and attractive. The theme features a picture of a girl watering her plants. While this may sound a little simplistic, and even twee, it works very effectively, immediately giving a sense of calm to the user/viewer’s screen. The theme is, not surprisingly, absolutely perfectly matched for a blogger who writes about gardening or nature. Indeed the green pastures behind the girl would not look out of place on the business site of a part-time gardening business.

A little unusually, the sidebar is found on the left-hand side of the screen. This actually works very well, and adds to the calm, uncluttered feel of the theme. There are two columns available for the blogger to use.
Fully widget compliant (an important consideration these days) the theme has lots of flexibility. With a little bit of foresight and planning, you could quite easily turn the theme into a multi-faceted piece of work in minutes.

The theme is highly attractive, and was designed by the wonderful people over at Digitaldiscountcodes.

There are not many truly unique WordPress themes out there, but Leaving could well be one of the most fantastic to look at. The header has all of the drama you could want from a theme, with an amazing picture that has at its centrepiece two hot air balloons. But that’s not all.

To make the header really special, the designers have also included a sun hiding behind a tree. The nature of this ‘sun’ is not exactly clear, because just along from the sun is a planet, the origin of which is possibly alien. This gives the header an otherworldly feel that makes Leaving stand out.

The RSS button must surely be one of the most distinctive around; really giving off a futuristic feel, but one that seems almost homely too. This is a two column theme, which means that it has a great amount of space for content, and a functionality, with a totally widget focused sidebar, that is pretty much as useful as you could need.

However, it is the striking visuals that make leaving such a treat to use. Bloggers will like its functionality. Readers will be knocked out by the sights.

If you are planning on putting together a blog that offers advice on going on holiday, or a website that contains a blog about holidays, it is just possible that your dream theme has been released.

The Beach Holiday WordPress template is exactly what it sounds like. This template is attractive, and calming at the same time. The template features a beach scene that could come out of anyone’s ideal holiday destination. It is for this reason that it is particularly suited to travel companies who are taking the step into blogging for business.

The sidebar is located over on the left hand side of the screen. While this is a little different to most blogs, it works very well here. The sidebar is totally compliant with any widgets that are WordPress friendly. It is important to remember to configure your blog so that it accommodates widgets though. Once you have done that, you will be on your way.

The main content area for this particular theme takes up the second column on the page, on the right. The colour is a nice and crisp white. Overall, a very effective theme, especially for the holiday market.
